saw these and they are beautiful. dapple with white patches. then i reseached it! not acceptable by KC but they are in USA (obv!) why are usa always more risky then us? turns out the double dapple (white patches) occur when 2 dapples are mated together and this caries a lethal gene. i suppose its like crossing 2 harlie danes or those blue merle chis? these double dapples can be born blind/deaf or with no eyes or small eyes or even missing limbs! i was just wondering why people would take this risk, especially when they cant be shown in uk anyway??

The simple straight forward answer is because they're cute and make lots of money.

Makes you laugh really doesn't it that a certain person is doing her best to call the UK breeding of dogs but in reality, more than likely we are one of the best countries, although sadly many are going into the US style of breeding, but more than likely the majority of them have nothing to do with the dog show world.
