
Thanks Nova, I was queuing at the vet's door at 8.30 this morning after staying up all night to make sure he was ok. I asked about kennel cough, which was my first thought, but she says that while his temperatiure is normal (and true to form, he didn't sneeze or cough once while he was there), she did say that his lymph glands seemd slightly swollen, indicating the possiblity of some infection. So rather than take the chance of spreading whatever it is--he was scheduled to take his first puppy test today in Worcestershire today--we went home for rest and warmth to live to play another day.
O asked about the vaccine, and was told that it's a bit like the flu vaccine for people, in that it might help, but it's no guarantee against the many stains of virus out there.
