Topic Dog Boards / Showing / pink patches

My dalmatian has a  lovely coat. But he has two pinky stains on his rump either side of his tail. I have used the shampoo that I use all over him, it is called Diamond White and it makes him look lovely. But nothing seems to shift these two patches. He licks to clean him self but not excessively.
I just wondered if any one could recommend something to try to remove it.
Thanks

Aha! I know the answer to this one! Anal glands. They're uncomfy and he's licking where it fees most uncomfy, and the pink stain is from his saliva. I had a bitch who did exactly the same; get the anal glands emptied and he'll stop licking. When he stops licking he'll stop staining the coat, and when he moults the coat will be white again.

Had his glands done..and have been using  whitening shampoo and gentle grooming looking better already.

Thank you.
