we are moving to a new place and the land lord has asked if tio is covered on his insurance for damges to the property, i thought he was on his pet insurance but it appears not. can we get him covered on contents insurance and does anyone have a reccommendation of who to go with?

I would have said that contents insurance would cover it.  Do you have an accidental damage clause?

It really won't matter to the landlord if Tio is insured for accidental damage as the tenant (and the members of their household) is solely responsible for damage to the property - either way the landlord will get his/her money.

Yes you can get accidental damage for kids and dogs on insurance I think we are with Norwich Union, but it is our house contents insurance.
