How does it look now? Nice and dry and shrivelled? Sometimes the area can get infected and consequently break down and allow a bleed. A "pour" of blood can also be quite a lot for a little puppy so maybe keep an eye on it for a fews hours that it does not appear breathless or dehydrated from low blood volume and just generally continuing to thrive. All in all, if you have any doubts I would have the vet check it over.
yeah he is sleeping with the litter at the moment and looks fine, it did pour but i held a gauze against it and it has totally stopped now.
the scab had caught on something and pulled away from his belly abit hence the bleed and doesnt look infected, plus the vet checked them this morning when he came to check on mum

In addition,
Have you looked at the pups nails? Sometimes they can be quite sharp even when tiny ;) You may want to take off any tiny hooks with a nail clippers so they don't catch the bitch or each other ;)
