my girl still has 12/13 days to go before she is due to whelp ...she is very close with hubby but the last 2days if he or i go out without her she goes mad !!! cring paceing jumping up at the window and does this for about 20mins or untill we come back home !!

im wondering could this course any problems to her whelps ????

I wouldn't think so, it's all part of her hormones and her need to be reassured. Just give her lots of love and cuddles.

:) thanks nd ...shes getting plenty of them ...:)  shes a large breed and just gets up on sofa and demands her cuddles ALL the time lol ...shes getting so big now and sleeping alot shes now not eating much but looking at her i dont think theres much room ..bless her .

she now as 9days day to go :) ive notest this morning her pups have dropped !!! shes looking thin when i look at her from the top !!! shes eatting still (but not alot..not much room)....she dont even want to go out for a walk ...shes sleeping alot now ...after alot of reading other posts  it seems to be the last few days mums go like this , so i wondering if she may go early ??? as any1 had this happen (all of what ive said !) and mums gone to have pups early ????  xx

some dogs do give birth early around 59 days but the longer they are in mum the better.
she will sleep alot she is just getting ready for birth let her get as much rest now because she going to need it

My cocker spaniel had 9 pups last summer, all good sizes and she whelped on day 63, thankfully all fit and healthy and all survived, she was absolutely massive and I thought she would go early, but no she kept us waiting right till the day....lol.

when my other girl had her last litter she had 12 :0 and she was sooooo big :( if you touched her she felt like her skin was going to pop :( ...i to was thinking she will go early because of the size of her :) But she didnt well 1 day early lol ..shes not the same breed as this girl she was a ESS so you can imagen the size of her :) ....but things just seen so different this time this girl is large breed she isnt poping with pups but is showing well and has dropped alot ...ive started taking her temp now and i will just have to wait and see ,but my gut feeling is telling me monday/tues next week so we will see :) xx

you will need plenty of match sticks lol just to keep your eyes open, get plenty of rest now before they arrive x

ok im at that stage again lol ....mum is doing ALOT of panting i carnt remember if our other girl was like this at this stage :( ... just feeling alittle worried i might get her in to the vets for a check before the weekend !! her temp is ok it was 99 this morning and now its 98 ...so she dont have a tempreture ....she must just be geting to fat and fed up do you think ???? goodness its worse then having my own kids lol lol

my last litter I had the temperature drop, panting, digging  9 days before the due date so I prayed she would hold on at least 2-3 days ...she actually strung it out until her due date ..I was nackered.

My girl is now 7 wks tomorrow she is also very clingy I now leave her the least I possibly can so she feels less stressed I am spending my time preparing her whelping room .

Hope your girl holds on a few more days.

thanks roni thats made me feel alot better :) her whelping room is all ready now :) just waiting for new whelping kit still so im hoping she holds on for the next 5 days a least :(

my girl had me on a wild goose chase for the last week and then had them bang on 63 days
shes a small breed and only had 2 so the popped out very quick lol
