Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Skinners - feeding amounts question
- By blacklabbeds [gb] Date 06.03.09 19:21 UTC
I hope you can help me.
I have recently changed from Natures Diet to Skinners F&T duck & rice and am confused with the recommended feeding guide, its seem rather a lot! 1 mug per 8kg .
My 4 year old lab is approx 32kg and the vet says she is a few kgs over weight. At the moment I am giving her 2 mugs (approx 300grams) she doesnt look like she is losing any weight and I might just be paraniod but I swear she is looking more chunky. She has about 90 mins exercise (split into 2 sessions) daily and longer at the weekends.
Also she has developed a slight amount of dandruff this week, could this be down to the food, I do feed her sardines in tom sauce twice a week for her coat.
Any help on getting the feeding quanity right would be so much appreciated.
Thank You.
