Love this picture and it did make me laugh.

Hopefully my hair is less frizzy than my poodles but i do know someone who has more than a small resemblance to her dog!!

LOL! I had a perm before I got the dogs - so no I don't look like them anymore thank goodness!  I get called "the poodle lady" anyway.

> i hope people dont think i look like drooly big eared clumsy danes

LOL
I hope I don't look like a drooly, droopy, clumsy Mastiff! I do have a very similar temperment though - lazy, chilled out & highly food motivated!!!!
- By ice_queen Date 06.03.09 11:14 UTC
Fantastic picture really! :-D

Somehow you wont be seeing me though with white hair and red patches! :-D

Hmmmmmm could do ginger to suit the tollers though...Now thats a though :-D

- By Granitecitygirl [eu] Date 06.03.09 11:19 UTC
What about a Scooby Snack? :-D
- By mahonc Date 06.03.09 11:25 UTC
im not entirely sure whats IN a scooby snack. if by scooby snack you actually mean creme egg yeh i would sit for that!
actually i sometimes find it very funny at open shows when you see all the different breeds with their owners.
some DO look like their chosen breed others you wouldnt ever guess in a blue moon what they ad chosen, so unlikely

The classic was the guy who has Dandie Dinmonts and he looks EXACTLY like them :-)  Think he was on the news at some point.

Paul Keevil and Crosby :-).  They do lots of work promoting endangered breeds.

I am not quite as spotty as mine, but it would appear I am defintely like them in nature!!

On a training course,"Get to know you" type thing.. the person delivering the course realised very quickly that dogs were a common interest with in the group. He asked us to guess the breed we each had.... More than half the group  put me down as something bouncey and lively.. two actually said a Dalmatian type dog!!! (Do you think the white hairs may have been a hint?)

ME...
Bouncey and lively..occasionally.... Stubborn and food orientated... usually  LOL

My OH was a scout leader when they took the kids to camp they were allowed a scooby snack - in it was anything they wanted. 1 rule you must eat it, by the second day they got smaller and smaller! On the 100 years celebrations we had HamJam 100 (Hampshire Jambore 100 years) and Yes you guessed it the speciality was ham & jam sandwiches.!!

I love fruit tea cakes toasted with dairylea cheese myself. My Mum used to have white bread, condensed milk and sugar - no wonder she lost all her teeth early.

Um, well only if I'm in a bad mood - I'm very friendly really :-)
- By CardiCorgiLover [gb] Date 07.03.09 15:45 UTC
Haha, that picture cracks me up!
Well both me and my Corgi have thick red/blonde hair that we drop everywhere, although I'm 5 ft 8 so theres no way my legs are stumpy lol.
I guess we are quite similiar in that we both like our beds too much and like junk food (I would sit for a creme egg too!).
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 07.03.09 21:59 UTC
Andrew Castle on GMTV fell in love with that photograph.  Yesterday he was showing it every five minutes saying how wonderful it was.  Really made me smile.
- By tooolz Date 07.03.09 22:03 UTC
Do you look like your dog?

My dogs are much better looking than me :-)
- By Jetstone Jewel [ca] Date 08.03.09 20:55 UTC
Might be nice since I'm prematurely gray and Jet hardly had any gray, even up to her last days at +14.

We noticed that Crufts photo with the Afghan too; it was in the Toronto Star.  I wonder if the photographer did that on purpose?  I love that the dog seems to be looking askance at the two women.
- By TrishlovesMiley [gb] Date 08.03.09 21:11 UTC
Ha ha Great picture! I don't think i look like my pug at all, I am quite tall and slim and don't have a little nose (more's the pity) :)
