Just wondering how everyone got on today who were showing their dogs.
Just had a peep at some of the results online from Fossedata. Was amazed at the lack of entries in some breeds. Saw only 1 or 2 entries in many classes in one breed, which i thought with CC's being offered it would be much higher.

I couldn't find it on Fosse when I looked just before!! I want to know how the obedience went as a dog that I bred was doing it today. Suppose that's not filmed?

The KC are doing breed results so perhaps they are also doing the others as well.
> I want to know how the obedience went as a dog that I bred was doing it today
Which Obedience ? The Inter Regional & YKC results from today are on
ObUK The YKC results from todays classes are at the bottom of the page
Apparently they were filming the Inter Regional all day

My friends got BOB with their IMP greyhound, great as they didn't expect anything.
Im really pleased a dog I bred won his class and a bitch was 2nd in hers. I didnt make it myself this year but am pleased with the results of the dogs I had bred.

We got a 2nd in junior bitch and a 1st in good citizen bitch so were really happy as have only been showing for 9 months and the grooming etc is a LOT of work!

My two did me very proud, my young lad got 4th in Yearling and my girl was a little star she got 5th in Post Graduate and 1st in Good Citizen class! :)

We got 4th in Special puppy and 4th in Limit bitch :) Brilliant! as I didn't think the judge would be looking in our direction at all :-D and at least it was consistant :)

I know Vinya has some news from Zhaan's first ever Crufts, but I'll leave her to tell you.
Ness and Grandpa Raider X

oh yes, just seen it on the Crufts site,
Congratulations, Jacqui & Zhaan very well done :) xxxx
could some1 send me a link plz so i can find out yesterdays and todays results plz :)

I was there as a spectator with the breeder of my little man and watched his brother (Uisneach's Absolute Joker) win in Post Graduate Dogs. They have the same parents but my little guy from the younger litter.
I have never been to a dogshow so excuse if I got the lingo wrong ;). I was very surprised how easy going and relaxed the dogs were, no stress at all from what I could see, at least not with the Otterhounds whom I was watching. I will def go again next year, time and money permitting!

lol, tell the protestors that :)

Yes and probably some other rescue peeps as well as I am running a rescue but I thought if I want an opinion then I go and see for myself. However, I was there from 9-4 and I saw no protesters at all.

Frends were there yesterday and having a cuppa on one of the trade stands. A Border Collie & owner came in, the dog having had paint thrown at it so I assume it must've been a Ob or agility dog as it was Hound/Terrier day yesterday.

I had heard this on another forum but didn't want to stir anything up, with it being unsubstantiated, however looks like this did really happen after all. How horrible!!! Aparently it was aimed at the handler. Sickening, absolutely sickening.

the poor thing, was it alright? :(

There does not appear to be anything about it on the news pages and you rather think it would make the news.

I quote my friend on a private forum:
'While having a coffee in Royal Canin, a border collie was there who had had paint thrown at her, thankfully she was ok. Seemed to be a lot of funny characters going round Crufts.'

we got 1st in Junior. yahhhhhhhh and 2nd in puppy. I am still jumping like a bean, I cant believe how well my little girl did, she's a star and only 10 month old bless her. It was the best day ever , I still cant sleep over the excitement :)

It'll take a while to come down from Cloud 9 :-) We're very proud of you both! Her grandfather, Raider, won Best Puppy and, like Zhaan, 1st in Junior at Crufts 5 years ago. It's shaping up to be a family trait ;-)

She is taking after her granddad :) she just loves it so much . She also loved going shopping and meeting everyone. It was nice to see her wade through the crowds with her tail waging and pulling me behind her lol.I haven't had much chance to catch up. Who won the terrier group?
I have not seen the hound group on the net, as I am having problames registering on the KC site. Is there anywhere else I can watch it?
p. s. zhaan sends kisses to Raider

I got 2 x 3rds with my bitches. Was pleased enough as all 5 placings in both my classes were beautiful bitches. A few lovely bitches went unplaced. I was really impressed with our bitch classes this year.

Thank you very much!

We got a VHC from a class of 18 with our home bred bitch- so chuffed woohoo

Well done all you winners :-D

There wasn't a single demonstrator there yesterday. My pup had a great day in DD's. It was definitely quieter than usual.
We were there on Hound day and had an absolutely FANTASTIC day. We didn't encounter any demonstrators, thank goodness! I took 5 dogs and this is what we got in an entry of 143, with lots of foreign competition:
Henry - 1st Limit Dog
Jackson - shortlisted to the last 6 from a strong class of 18 in Open Dog
Guillie - 1st Post Grad Bitch and Reserve CC
Ora - VHC Limit from 20 bitches - on only her second show in the UK
Mischka - 1st Open Bitch and CC - this is her 2nd CC - she also has 3 RCC's
What a day - still on Cloud Nine and back tomorrow for Discover Dogs! To get both the CC and Reserve CC in bitches, with some lovely foreign dogs there, was absolutely breathtaking. The judge was Carla Molinari from Portugal - pics on my website.

Sue,
That is fantastic news! Congratulations to you!
Christine
(Who contacted you re: Sussex! ;-))

What fantastic results, workingdachs! Talk about taking it to another level! Hearty congratulations!

Wow! What a fantastic result! Thanks for letting us see the pics, I LOVED the video clip, Jackson's little victory leap into your arms :-D (Fabulous website too can I say, I got happily lost there for some time, really enjoyable!)
Thank you all - it is nice to share your highs as well as your lows isn't it! I am pleased that you like the web site - I spend a lot of time messing about with it and upating it! Getting ready for Discover Dogs tomorrow now - taking the CC and RCC winner - the public can have a treat - best bitch and reserve best bitch to cuddle! What was extra nice was that Guillie (the RCC winner) is also a most superb working dog - so true dual purpose, which is what we strive for!

Congratulations to every one and there dogs ,it was a really great day

Got chucked out with my boy which I expected. Calida's dad got BOB and a few dogs from my lines got placed highly in big classes so I was well pleased. Nearly every single dog that was placed was British owned although the top two are Spanish imports. I think only one dog that came from abroad got placed so was quite surprised by that as there were some nice dogs there.

Ooh forgot met Polo's mum too so that was nice, had a great chat and she put up with my dogs too :)
