Just found out that Tony Hart died yesterday aged 83. I remember him on TV after school with Morph the little plastacine man. They did a tribute to him with hundreds of little Morph's in a row.
It's just that it was featured heavily on the news when he actually died, and you might have seen a recording of the news as well as your programme (voice of experience - I've muddled myself several times doing that!).
I saw the item. It was reporting on the Morph tribute not his death. But never mind it does not harm to be reminded again of our childhood memories of him :-)
I am with you Peanuts, I did not know he had died, and when I saw your thread I thought, 'oh no how sad, I used to love watching his art program', Well, RIP Tony Hart, your program used to have me glued to the TV when i was a child!
