can i get some opinions on this food please? tio is currently on Wainwrights (PAH brand) food and is doing well but its a nightmare for us to get (for the numerous dundee people i live in the Blackness area so PAH is a treck as i don't drive). I've discovers autarky for sale at a far cheaper price in a pet shop in the town who will also deliver, i've bought a small bag and have mixed with his usual to see if he likes it/is ok with it (has a bit of a sensitive tum- i had him on wellbeloved but he was being sick with it) and he is (seems to like the smell and taste).

anyway, not being a nutrition expert i thought i'd get some info from you :)

Of the cheaper completes, it's probably one of the better ones. It is very high in cereals, as I recall. I fed it briefly several years ago and one of my dogs did ok on it but I had to stop as the maize in it was exacerbating my girl's skin complaint.

My friend feeds it to her 4 yr old GR bitch, she does fine on it.
Don't know if you have a CostCo near you, it's pretty cheap there!

I would reccomend Autarky, Storm has it and does very well on it. I get it from Costco, it is about £11 I think? Which is a damn site cheaper than buying it direct at £19 odd! It's worth the membership for that alone!

don't think we do have a cost co but not sure

th ething with tio is he doesn't do as well on the better quality foods, when on wellbeloved etc he would from time to time just sick up his whole meal, he also wasn't a keen eater. he;s been fine on wainwrights salmon and potato (weird as he doesn't really like fish) but as i say its less than practical the autarky i saw was £19 i think a sack and does not involve a taxi home either so is a much better deal for me as long as its suitable for him. stools etc with it mixed are fine.
