Just been browsing online and the usual websites that I buy my dogs food from have all hiked their prices up :-( So thinking of trying a new one - I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this, so please remove if not, but has anyone tried swellpets.co.uk??

And can anyone recommend anywhere else? I know I have asked this before - but thought I should start a new thread rather than rekindle the old one :-)

P.S. The food is Arden Grange...

I'd be interested to know to as I shall need to be buying another couple of sacks of AG myself in a day or so, I usually use Berriewoods, I haven't checked yet to see if theirs has gone up.

Berriewoods dont deliver to my area unfortunately! :-(

You could still try them, they don't actually deliver to me in their own vans, it comes by either DPD or DHL, obviously this incurs a delivery charge.

Feedem have increased their prices, but at £25.25 for the lamb & rice, Arden Grange still looks cheaper on there than on Swellpets?

I use Feedem regularly and have had no problems.

Yes I usually use Feedem and they're very good, but they used to do 2 bags for less and I dont think they're doing that any more - you can only buy 2 bags for full price now I think?!

Im going to change my girl onto the AG senior and that is on offer at Swellpets - buy 2 bags and get free delivery and a cheaper price. :-)

Hi Alice

They do all seem to have had a shift since January.  I'm sure I read that most would be, because of the VAT reduction last year they would be rounding up again!!

I tend to keep 2 or 3 sites bookmarked and check these each time before ordering.  I've found that VetUK and Feedem generally come up cheapest.  I always cross check with AG breeder bag prices too.

I've just received this morning 2 bags AG Lamb & Rice from VetUK - total £50.82

All the companies I use have free delivery for 2 or more bags but I keep an eye open for special offers too and if it's cheap enough I will buy more!

Hi Dogs a babe,

Oooh, I'd not seen Vet UK - will have a good browse tonight and decide who to use out of them and Feedem. Only thing I liked about Swellpets is that they have the 2 bags of Senior on offer. But on the other hand, I might not want 2 bags in case it doesn't agree with my dog! Tricky...

If you see any special offers for AG anywhere, please let me know - and I'll do likewise! :-)

Alice I don't know where in Cheshire you are but have you tried HJ Lea Oakes for pet food.  They used to offer really good prices on most food and it may just be worth getting a smallish bag anyway if you want to change to Senior.  The pet superstores are next to their mill in Congleton and at Sandbach. xxx

Its funny you should suggest that - I used to work in Sandbach - did you live nearby?? HJ Lea Oakes do a great range of food, I used to go in there all the time with my friend as she got her dog food from there. I can't see their prices for AG on the website though
