Hi

My 4 & half month old puppy Fozzie has just started to really panic bark & act a bit spooky when he hears another dog bark or unusual noise.I guess it really started about 10 days or so ago. Up to now he has been the most confident puppy I have had so I am very surprised at this. He sounds like a beagle when he does it. It is a definite worried bark because his tail goes between his legs and he looks worried.
I am not quite sure how I should play this one as I haven't had this problem before .
Do I ignore and then reward when he's calmed down.? Do I tell him its wrong ? I really want to curb this asap in case it escalates, or will he grow out of it? could it just be another stage he's going through.

I also wonder why he has started doing this !!   He has always been a bit vocal, especially if my pack bark when someone comes to the door,but he's not been worried up to now.
