could someone tell me if BIS at a single group open show qualifies for Crufts next year?

Well it was certainly a qualifying award for this years show, so in all probability will be for 2010 as well. The following was taken from the KC site just now.

(4) If it has won Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show or Best Puppy in Show at a General or Group Open Show held between 7 January 2008 and 5 January 2009.
