I feel a bit down in the dumps...
Today had a bad day at a dog show...
Got there early - parking wasn't as normal and also had a banging headache...took headache tablets but if didn't really shift it.
Waited ages it seemed for our breed to go in the ring...
athough the showing of the dogs I can show went ok, and I did win a class.
Managed to lose or have stolen a £51 purchase at the show...
which is very painful on the bank balance as I'm having a heavy month expense wise (vets bills and the like)
and the only dog I had qualified for Crufts won't be going due to an unexpected op due to injury she got.
Still got my headache..
:( I wanna cry and wished I'd never gone to the show today (and this is most unlike me in attitude)
Get home and the OH is most unsympathetic, which makes me want to cry all the more. :(

So sorry to hear you had a rotten day. Hope things cheer up for you soon. Take Care ((((hugs))))

Awww, chin up K. How gutting to lose £50 worth!
Hope injured doggy OK.
M.
Injured doggy has eye ulcer and Boxer eye ulcers notoriously slow for healing.
So vet went quite aggressive on treatment and opted for phenol treatment very quickly.
She was at the show (not showing) as I didn't want to leave her at home.
Would have been her first time in veteran at Crufts (only consolation is judge prob not
favourable and we get to go home before 4pm)
Yes gutted and really annoyed at myself as can ill afford to lose the money...
and to top it all still have the headache despite more tablets....and feeling nauseous now..yuk
Oh well have a valid reason for not going shopping - althou other half doesn't think so...still keeps
asking are you going to Tesco's....me thinks he's after his vino...but he can go gt it himself after the
no sympathy treatment earlier - grrrr

Do let the secretary know of your loss people do hand things in and sometimes they find things that aren't lost, some take them home and then realise what they have done and phone the secretary later, so let them know you never know your luck may change.
Now to you, you do sound very down and I think a trip to your doctor may be in order, tell them you are feeling as you are and want to cry at things that would normally be easy to cope with. In the mean time make a fuss of yourself and take care.
I think I may have to go as I keep flaring up with allergy rashes (I've just recently got over a head/sinusy cold)
and due to go to next speech therapy session this week. Funnily enough she asked if I was stressed at the first session
and I said no felt fine and couldn't think of anything to be causing me to be stressed - althou since being unwell have felt
stressed as targets at work not being met and everything or family seem to be problematic...then one of the girls being poorly..arrgghh just not being lucky.

Yes, well, you may think you will cope with it but I think you need to get some attention, so as I am usually obeyed, get it sorted :-)
Boxacrazy, girl, you need a smellie candle, a long long bath with a nice bit of classical music and a face pack. Tell him to get off his bum and go to Tesco's himself and pick you up a mars bar whilst he is there, and have a soak and a weep.
I'm a great believer in me time, I shut the door turn on the radio and wallow!! Try a menthol sniff to clear your sinuses and feel sorry for yourself a bit, struggling on does not get you a medal or appreciation, but a good weep makes you feel a hell of a lot better.
You won a class - good, well done.
£50 is a right pain, so, take a step off the world for a bit and come back refreshed, it might not solve much but I bet you feel better for it!!!

Owwww Kirstine!! :(
Rotten luck... I can't say it better than Whistler has, I hope you'r feeling better today tho'
If not, We are all here in the CD Kitchen, kettles on, (Wines at the ready!! no corkscrew needed we wheeled in the Barrel!! ;)) and we've got our waterproof shoulders ready and a big comfy chair for ya'...
(((Gert big Hug)))
Thanks, have almost got through this week.
Managed not to muck up the cakes I had to bake for one of my work friends.
As it was her birthday today...well nearly forgot one of the ingredients but spotted it
just as I was popping cake in the oven...and I actually thought that it was the better of
the pair of ginger loaf's with lemon icing...
Called the Sports Centre, stall and the Show Manager and no-one has handed my lost property :(
Gutted as most dog show folk are really honest and we all help each other.
I've always been taught to hand in lost property or find it's rightful owner - but perhaps it's another sign of the times?
Hardest part of the week is coming up, speech therapy tomorrow (where last time she asked if I was stressed and I said no...
well I didn't feel stressed a few weeks ago) and then fingers crossed
vet's visit on Friday where I'm hoping she will give Abs the thumbs up with improvement with her eye ulcer.
Thanks for the hugs..think may go to the Dr's once I get this week out of the way.
As I keep flaring up with rashes (really irritating) not sure if it's stress related but can't keep taking piriton to counter act this..
as I just go like a zombie
Piriton makes me drowsy too , so i get a less drowsy one from the chemist . Sorry ,can't remember it's name .
Have you changed washing powder / softner recently ?

Non Drowsy Anti-histamines contain Loratidine (sp!?) as Main ingredient so brand names such as Clarityn (I use this one) and off the top of my head Tesco 'non drowsy'.
HTH?
Good luck for Doc's xx
