I have never been to crufts and my day to go is the Friday for Toy and Utility, do you think if we got there for about 11 we'd have missed loads?
It's my 5 year olds assembly at school and I really don't want to miss it.
Actually I am not going to miss it but wondered what I might miss at Crufts?

You'll miss the first classes of some of the breeds if you turn up at 11am.

I went to watch last year and got there about 10am and the judging had already started in my breed, just but i was there to see my boys brother come second in his class.

There is so much to see and do there that a whole day was not enough to see everything.
If you plan to watch any of the agility sessions in the main ring then i advise you to get there early as the ring fills up and no one leaves. We couldn't even get near the ring due to the crowds.
But being a weekday it should be quieter.
Bear in mind that some breeds will start judging at 08.30 up to 10.00. So check on the Crufts website if there is a particular breed you're interested in watching.

There is a link on the showing page under Crufts which should give you the start times. If the breed itsn't listed i gather judging starts at 09.00ish

it depends what you wanted to see, if it was just for a general look around then you may miss some stuff, it usually takes us a full day to look around and we come in on the dog doors at 8am !!

Pugs have an early start this year, at 8.30, so you will miss quite a few pug classes, but should be in time to see the bitches at least.

I went for the first time last year. It was so exciting I could not stand in one place for long  I  missed most of the judging , spent a lot of time just looking at everything and had a hug off every dog in discover dogs . Its was a fantastic day out, even if you don't watch the judging you will still have a grate day. I am showing my dog this year so I will try to be calmer lol
