hi there ,on tuesday we were driving to ringcraft at 7pm on the north circular, when suddenly about 6 ft in front of us was a woman with 2 jack russells trying to cross it in rush hour traffic! luckily dawn just saw her in time and slammed on the brakes as the woman was wearing black clothes and if dawn hadnt been concentrating we would have not only gone into her but been hit from behind too! the dogs were panicking and nearly out of their collars as the woman had them up so much the dogs could only stand on their hind legs.we both had visions of the dogs pulling out of them and causing carnage.the cars going in the opposite direction slowed when they saw her so she could cross but what annoys me is there was an island 200 yards up the road which although still dodgy would have been safer to cross! some people really do take some risks!

Very irresponsible of her! All to save 30 seconds of time, it's bizarre how people put themselves in danger when they're in a rush!

See it all the time when there is a designated crossing only a few meters away and people trying to cross through busy traffic and jumping out behind buses. Usually its kids i see who do this and there have been a lot of kids being knocked down by double decker buses in our area. Kids fault for stepping out in the path of a moving bus.
