Hi, my mum is wanting to breed her girl, anyway she tried today, her girl was really willing but the dog wasnt to sure. Its his 1st time. He mounted her, not sure for how long but they didnt tie, he pulled away. Is it possible she may be pregnant?. She is going to try her again tomorrow, but do they have to tie? My breeder kept my girl until they mated so im not sure how it works.

She could be, but even with a tie a lot of people go for 2 matings to have more chance. It's best if you can find someone who's helped with matings before if both dog and bitch are maidens, so you can have someone to help guide the dog and someone to hold the bitch firmly in case she panics and tries to bite.
