Topic Dog Boards / General / Distressing News story .. Dogs in Kent

Just caught the local news...
Regards mutilated dogs dumped at Wouldham (Kent Beauty spot)

Another dog was found yesterday :(
They should pictures of the poor GSD all bloodied.....

Just beggars belief doesn't it??
The investigating RSPCA officer commented it is not yet known wether the mutilations and injuries (broken backs, legs) were inflicted before death or post mortem....

It is not known wether the dogs were stolen or were owned by who ever did this.
Pray they find and stop this 'person' quickly.

I daren't look at the report, but am with you and hope whoever is doing this is stopped and dealt with asap.

We are or have been having problems in my area with someone/something doing dispicable things to cats The whole situation is unspeakable, I have no time for anyone who harms animals.

its absolutly discusting what people do to anyone and anything they wish.i like some others couldnt be held responsible for my actions having caught this person or anyone being cruel.obviously putting myself at risk too but who thinks about that when faced with something like this?!
its heartbreaking.

Dont want to pinch your thread but its along the same lines I am afraid. A woman was walking to work last week when she heard yelping. She looked around and saw a group of kids (some as young as 10) they had two six week old puppies. One was being kicked around and the other held over a fire. ( I know, in tears just typing it). Obviously she took the puppies off them and walked with one under each arm to the RSPCA. They obviously cared for them. Named one Guy and the other Cinders. they are fine now but we all wonder if there were more pups in the litter and where is mum? Doesnt bear thinking about. Hasnt been any mention of who the kids were.
Trying to find some kind of explanation for these dreadfully cruel happenings. are the people just pure evil?
I wonder if these kids have no love in their lives so they cant relate compassionate feelings towards other people/animals. Not trying to find excuses. Just scared that such awful things are happening.

My hubby told me about this woman who found the pups....why are humans so cruel to animals and just what pleasure do they get out of it. It beggars belief in this day and age, Wonder what the parents think of their little darling kids!!!!! I despise cruelty of any kind whether it be human or animal. I havent read the news about the gsd..i darent..my blood is boiling at what I'd love to do to the people who did it. Animals give unconditional love...why cant we?

RE the dogs it seems that dogs have been found there mutilated at different times although recently....:(

Makes me wonder if someone is buying dogs to abuse, someone who is really very sick,  and who may go on to be a serious danger to humans. Someone who at this moment appears pretty normal...

Poor dogs, I hope they rest in peace....
