Hi,My butcher kindly gave me somes marrowbones for my dogs which I put in the freezer can anyone tell me if it is ok to refreeze them once the dogs have got fed up with chewing them or will they keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks. Thanks

I leave bones down and tend to find they eat all the good stuff in the space of a day, the outter ;part of the bone I just leave until theyve finished with them. Which could be a week or so.

Never had any issues as by the end of the first day theyve cleaned them of any meaty bits and marrow so only the bones left. So no upset tummys here!

I wouldnt refreeze them personally, but I'm sure they'll be lots of different opinions on the feeding of bones :-D

If you have found a good supply, (butcher), then i wouldn't bother to keep them, just get new bones every few days !:-)
