Does anyone know if you can get a book or anything from the KC on rules and the roles of a committe ? We are thinking of setting up a Northeast club for my breed but dont want to make any mistakes

There is a book that may be helpful it is called Manual for Kennel Club Registered societies/Clubs. The setting up of a dog club is just the same as setting up any sort of club. Get a group of people who are interested call an inaugural meeting and elect a committed and lay down the basic aim and rules of the club, these can be changed latter and voted on by the members. You may find the Kennel Club has other information that may help an e-mail to them should bring a reply.
