Has any one else seen the news of the world article about soliders killing chix bare hand.
Apparently the NOTW and RSPCA are up in arms!!!
Are these people so stupid do they not realise there is a war going on.
Let me see what does a solider do....
Behind enemy lines, his rat packs have ran out, being tracked by the enemy, seperated from his troop!!! mmm let me think go to the local supermarket and buy a pot noodle.... count his lucky stars that he was shown how to kill to and feed himself!!!!!!!

Are they complaining they were killed in a cruel fashion?

The soliders were trained in this case to bite the head off. Not nice for either solider nor chicken. It is not something that can be pretty, fighting for your life is ugly and brutal.
Terrible though war is I'd imagine the circumstances under which a soldier would be forced, for want of other, better, tools of execution, to bite the head of a chicken would be pretty rare. I've a hunch that it might constitute some sort of feat of machismo that demonstrates one is up to the job- a bit like "milling" in para training. But, maybe I'm wrong.....?
I haven't read the NOTW today so not up to speed on the story.
Can you give more details of what, how, why, I guess I have figured out where. :-D
Thanks for the link.
Um, not too sure on this one, fully agree they need training, if need be to survive off the land, killing and eating the chicks no problem, however, is biting off a chickens head really the quickest and easiest way to kill them, I thought wringing their necks, or snapping the neck would be quicker and easier, less pain for the chicken and a heck of a lot quicker and less mess.
Certainly no expert on killing chickens :-D But even dogs just wring the neck and shake, they don't bite the head off why would a human?
I also think it is all a test of machoism, however, not worthy of wordly news, how about patting our soldiers on the back for a change.
I detect the hands of two Mr M's, one in the government, the other in newspapers. It's a totally ridiculous story at a time like this, but a marvellous distraction from the things we should be thinking about. Much better for them if we concentrate on the scandals of chicken- biting- soldiers than the state of our economy, hmmmm?!
