My son is inheriting my daughter's pine wardrobe.  He's already got white furniture with pine knobs so I want to paint her wardrobe.  Any advice as to how to go about it, what sort of paint, do I have to sand it down or anything.  He won't care too much what it looks like so long as I've removed the Disney Princess stickers from the doors ;-)

I would sand it down, wash down with white spirit, let it dry, then paint it with a satin finish Oil based paint! (not satin finish emulsion!)
