well i got my walkdog and after about 5 mins training with each dog, they now start and jostle for first one to go out with me when they see the bike comming out
they love it i have invested in some harnesses waiting on the last two to be delivered , so as the dogs have been on collars i have not been doing a lot of biking with the two that do not have the harnesses yet, but it has been sheer joy watching my rottie who is such a wimp take to the bike like a duck to water, when we strap up and get going, he is brilliant he just goes like a steam train and smiles all the way around, the only problem i had was he tried to take off to a tree when out with me to have a pee so now he has learnt when strapped and running, leave it means that , but to make it fun we have been going by the woods every other day and he is allowed off to have a sniff etc, but yesterday when i let him off he just kept close to the bike, so back the leash went on and away we went again, we are now up to about 20 mins with him and he is loving it, my collie bitch was not to sure when we started but now she is quite happy to plod beside the bike and we can even pass the park where we play ball and she does not automatically asume that she should try and race ahead and get to the park before me, she now will just carry on head down and past the park and to where ever we are going, my husband thought it funny at first but he said that the dogs have never looked so calm, i just think they are shattered after all this running now, as we used to take a walk to the park 5mins, then 45 mins chasing a ball flat out or finding it int he leaves etc, then 5 min walk home this was twice a day, then an hours walk at night or training, but now they are getting fitter and faster, and i have lost half a stone in a week all because of this bike.

carolann, how do you attach them? I was in the woods near my house last week and there was a man who had the lead looped round the saddle pole/stalk thing (can you tell I am not into bikes? lol). It looked really dangerous but the dog seemed to be loving it.
this walkydog is like a metal pole that you attach to the bar where the seat is it is screwed into place with two screws with a aln keey so the dog runs beside you away from the wheels
it is attached underneath my seat so does not hamper me either, it has two clips on mine one is on a sort of long velcro strap this
one you can put the clip verylow to the floor if you want to run small dogs with you
and you also have a bungy one about 16 inch long that i use for the big dogs as it is less impact on them well that is
what the blurb said, i did not want to attache any of my dogs to any where on my bike incase they got under the wheels
or pulled me over but with this bar attached to the bike and they run along side it no way can they get under or in
front of the wheels and when they try and pull off to one side they are automatically pulled back to me and i have only
once felt the bike move out of line when the rottie saw a squirrle and took a pace out of line i felt the bike move only
slightly and he kept comming with me
you can also buy a one called the springer but they are quite big and heavy but with my walkydog i would be able to attach
another one on unerneath the seat and have two dogs running either side if i wanted to
proberly give the local walkers and neighbours a heart attack if a rottie and akita where running together at them
