i have two Labradors
can anyone tell me why one is permanantly moulting and the other does it just twice a year?
the one moulting is a bitch and i swear i get a small dog amount of hair off her daily..its driving my fella mad!
i was brought up with labs so it doesnt really bother me whereas he wasnt as sees it as dirty having hairs on him...
is it a health issue or something else?

My friend has two bitch Labs and they are the same for massive amount of coat coming off all the time, she just got a Furminator to groom them and said it has made a very good difference.
P.S if the fella sees dog hairs as dirty possibly think of changing the fella!................just joking honest

It could just be that if they are from different lines they may have slightly different coat types.
Our worst moulter is a neutered male and he grows a great thick pelt. I must say he moults less than he used to now that he eats raw food, but he still sheds quite a bit.

bring a newfoundland owner i think of dog hair as a conderment eg salt, pepper dog hair.
i have a fuminater and its made a big diifenance to the amount of hair they lose.
