I wormed My cav and my Rott today and my Rotty sussed the Drontal plus whole tablet was inside the chicken whereas the Cav didn't. He had his half a tablet then gobbled up her untouched whole one, making one and half down the Cav?? I rang my Vet who told me not to worry but he is so unsettled. Anyone know of any adverse effects please?  

Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet is a pale yellow flavoured tablet containing 50 mg praziquantel, 144 mg pyrantel embonate and 150 mg febantel.

"The product is well tolerated in dogs. In safety studies doses of 5 x or greater gave rise to occasional vomiting."

From their own literature so looks ok.

Could be he has stomach gripes as would think the obvious side effect would be the runs.
