Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd let you know that Mabel has been on a course of anti - biotics as she had an uterine infection. It appears to have cleared up and she seems well in herself. I'm just a bit worried because although her tummy is back to normal the area between her vulva and the closest teats seems quite swollen and hard. Is this normal?
Puppy is doing really well, more than doubled his birthweight already. All he does is eat and sleep. I think we should call him Homer!

What breed is Mabel?
I cant think the area that is hard that you talk about
can be normal. Why not ask your vet over the
telephone. I often ring mine and ask to know when
the vets in and I have a chat. It saves on a visit
sometimes. It has got me curious to know what
it could be. Unless you say that she had an infection,
could it be that she has not gone back inside as she
should of done?
Cant really be of much help as I do not understand just
what you mean,
