Hi guys

Im looking for something to do while at home,  Im going to be home full time for 6mths and not allowed to go out and get a proper job as yet under DR orders.  I wanted to do something like online surveys to stop me going mad and one of my previous clients used to tel me she used to get approx £20-£30 per servey and not sure if she was exagragting or telling the truth?  Anyone got any ideas or actually done this?

I've tried doing this but the ones I've tried only pay 10-20 pence.  You have to spend about 10 minutes answering questions to see if you even qualify, in my case hardly ever so no payment.  On one site after trying to qualify for several surveys a week after 3 months I had earned 70p!  I'd love to know who pays £20-£30 per survey :)

That's my experience too.  I've also been answering questions many times for 10 minutes before being told that I don't fit the criteria!  Infuriating.  I do them because I find them interesting but if I get a £10 every 3 months then I think I've done well and treat myself to a winebox but I wouldn't see it as an income! :)

I've also given up on Secret Shoppers!  30 minutes drive, 30 minutes work, at least 30 minutes report on the computer once home, then wait for whatever you've purchased to be refunded, car park and fuel out of pocket, for maybe £7.  Naaaa.  Not for me. :)

£20-£30 for a survey ................ the only ones I know that pay that are when you go into peoples' homes and I wouldn't do that in this day and age. :(

I do a LOT of these -but it's all pin money. I do perhaps ten different companies. Some pay in money, some in points to convert to PayPal or gift vouchers. Some pay nothing and only give you a prize draw entry. Sometimes you get more points if you test out a product that they send you. I tend to cash each one in about once a year and get perhaps £30-£50 a time, so that is per YEAR for each company. I do roughly 5 surveys every single day, always. I don't mind it, as I enjoy surveys, and it pays for my little extras like books that is my big addiction, so for me it works well -but it's nothing more than that. And yes, a lot of the time you do get screened out -especially if you don't have children living with you. Any pet related survey you're out of as soon as you say you own more than 3 dogs or cats! The MAIN thing each one want is for you to be the main grocery shopper in the household so if you are not able to go out and do the shopping that could be a problem.

I recently joined up with one and i get hardly anything!! I am always not compatible with what they are looking for, so get 10 points, which baring in mind, for something like a five pound voucher you need 400 and odd!! or something silly!! So its not much, recently completed one for the first time, however not checked to see what my points are, wouldnt say they are worth it tbh unless you have a lot of time and patience! lol :)

The best way to make money from the internet is to enrol at a cashback site (I won't name one specifically, just search for them) and you earn money on everything you buy from sites on the net.  So far, I have earned over £60 just buying things for Xmas.  The one I am on charges an admin fee of £5 per year, everything else is yours and they pay direct into your bank account.  If you change different insurance policies or utility company, you can earn hundreds!

I've just signed up to some of them and now had a sudden thought as to how safe they are with the information that you are giving them. I know its basic info, but now i've done it i'm not so sure as many companies are not based in the UK. Just thought as to what cover we have with these companies when we complete the online surveys.
