Hi, I have 10 week border male pup, was advertised by breeder to feed four times daily 25grams each feed eukanba puppy dried food, He only seems interested in breakfast 7am not so much the lunchtime feed 12pm, teatime around 5pm he is interested but not supper time aroun.d 9.30pm, he has grown since i have had him but seems more interested in playing than eating unless i hand fed him which i dont want to do?, but i dont want the pup to go hungry. Thought possibly to change food but dont want to upset his tummy, Any suggestions please, as i know to feed three times daily at 12 weeks.

I wouldn't worry too much, as long as he is perky and not looking to thin. My girl was so disinterested in food that I really worried about it until she was about 4 months! I now look back and realise that I should have just let her get on with it. If he doesn't want to eat four meals, maybe try three? It won't hurt him (IMO), just make sure he isn't scoffing a whole load of food at once as this will upset his baby tummy. He may just not be a food orientated dog or need less food than his siblings! If he turns his nose up at a meal, I would just take it away after 10mins and then re-offer it a bit later on. I would really advise against changing his food just yet. If you get really worried you could try adding something tasty to the dried food, like some low salt gravy, cheese or even some wet dog food. Some may say making the food more tasty is making a rod for your own back- but my girl still gets tasties with her dry food every meal and she is doing really well with her eating. I am sure others will have some advice as well- good luck!

Definately wouldn't change the food but it sounds like he is ready to drop one of his meals now , this happens once they lose the "competion" of the litter mates. Just lenthen the gap between the 3 meals and he should be more interested.
