Are you anywhere near Fishponds?

There is a Ring training class, small and frienly, run at Hillfields Community centre (last building from Carpark), on Monday night, starting at 8pm.

It is not a KC registered one, but privately run by several exhibitors!

I live in Bradley Stoke so Fishponds is not that far. Would I just turn up with my dog or do I have to book first? Also what is the name of the person who runs it?

Just turn up. It is a once only joining fee (forget how much) and£2 for training.

The main trainers are a big man called Martin, he has Flatcoats, and working goldens, and used to show Rotts, but now only the flatcoats, and works both gundog breeds. He is really good going over the dogs and gaining their confidence or taking no nonsense as appropriate.

The other one a Lady is Julie, who has Chinese Crested, and used to have GSD.

A friend of mine comes all the way from Chepstow, as finds it better than her local club.

There is a bar too, so bring the other half!

At the moment i come with my friend and her pup, and a young girl is learning to handle a bitch I bred, that belongs to another friend. Mine are all at the stage of not going to ringcraft as being shown regularly at the moment about twice a month.

Just had a call that there is no class on Monday, so see you next week. they are a friendly bunch.
