Interesting paperwork from the KC today, re changing breed standards...all to do with that programme!!! Anyway amongst the bumph it says that decisions have partly been made based on"an analysis compiled using data provided by agria insurance covering purebred dogs covered under the kc healthcare plan for past 5 years!" My question is......can data on dogs insurance be shared like that?? What do you all think?
Think it depends on whether the share information box is ticked when forms are filled in. Otherwise they may be able to get away with it because they are not stating names just statistics.
If this is data on customers of the KC healthcare plan they are not really sharing it, only with themselves :-) Anyway, good for them basing their moves on real data rather than attention grabbing, media commissioner pleasing nonsense about Nazis and the like.
