I went out last night doing a bit of shopping.....brought myself a pair of ankle boots lovely soft leather in black...like wearing a second skin. I can't abide anyone buying me shoes, although they will be a Christmas present to me. I don't know what I like till I see it anyhow, although I adore buying for others can't stand people buying for me.....odd eh...its the control freak in me I think ;). Brought prezzies for family too.....Ohhhhhhhhhh..... I adore Christmas...........

I'm loving Christmas this yar, simply because its the first year i have got organised. Not only are presents bought - they've been wrapped too and cards have been written AND delivered!!
Now i can sit back and relax. Finish work next Thursday, Going on a Santa steam train tomorrow. All is good :-)

Me too, I'm a proper Christmas freak, I get so excited it's ridiculous! :) :) :) It's even better this year as we finish so early at work, last working day is Friday 19th & we don't return until Monday 5th Jan! :) I'm just about done with sorting out Xmas, most of my pressies are bought & wrapped, just a few last minute things to get on Sunday, cards have been handmade by my own fair hands, posted & hopefully delivered too!  I just need to crack on with my baking & practising putting together my blinis for Xmas Eve.  I'm thinking this year might be a little bit difficult with it being the first year I'll have to see my parents separately but I'm determined to not let this get to me or ruin my Xmas!

****Happy Christmas To You All!****

Ohh you need to make the most of that seeing your parents seperately as you are a "Christmas fan" like me you will get the excitment twice......not the same but making up a little.

i am christmas superwoman!! all presents are bought (if not arrived yet) the lists of food etc are many, i'm doing overtime to make sure i get a £25 moneycard for my work, bf's doing it to plus 10% discount plus £13.50 in Clubcard vouchers so basically everything foodwise except the meat from the butcher will be free- hurrah! cards are written, most presents wrapped, table for pre christmas parental dinner is booked (and goodness it looks yum) and the decorations are up.

sorted.

getting there, all cards done and posted yesterday a few to hand deliver but will do them when I take the dogs out. Most of the pressies brought all the family and friends have been delivered apart from the ones I see over xmas. I have everything for the kids but would like to get a few more bits but nothing to much. Hubby I am giving up on no idea what he wants wont give me a straight answer so he is getting slippers from the dogs lol.   Brought half the food that was delivered yesterday, cakes made, mincemeat made.

Got daughter to get the decorations out last night before she went out. Hubby is away for the weekend so me and son were going to put them up. Got the tree up and fought with the lights and then realised we were a box short and no baubles. I am not allowed in the said cupboard as there is things in I am not allowed to see. I am hoping it is my xmas pressie and nothing sinister lol. But had to wait till she came home to get it out and by then it was to late. Thats this mornings job.

I do like xmas and i try to make the most of it. I work with preschool children and its fabby at work making cards and decortations with them. You will be amazed were you find glitter at night lol

Christmas is the best time of the year. Lovely Christmas songs old and new, i have very happy memories of being a child. My family say they all have very happy memories of there childhood when my Mom and Dad were alive all together. Well we are going out for Christmas Lunch. I will be cooking Christmas Dinner at home Boxing day all the family come home. I will be cooking for 20 four courses. hard work but ,worth it. I used to do it Christmas day and boxing day. but the last 3 years we have gone out. Still not as good as home cooked though.
