I was under the impression that tail docking was no longer acceptable in any breed. Am I wrong? Will this mean that I cannot show my Blue Roan because she has a complete tail?

It depends which country you are in. Presuming you are in the UK then docking is still allowed and Cockers, for show, are usually docked. That does not mean that you cannot show. The breed standard does allow for undocked tails but at high level it is unlikely that you will be that successful. The day is dawning where docking will be a thing of the past - and I'm not looking to re-open that discussion - just stating what seems to be the inevitable:D - and so fully tailed Cockers and other breeds will become the norm both on the streets and in the show ring.
If your dog is good in all other aspects then give it a go and have fun:D Ihave seen some of the well respected Cocker people braving it in the ring with tailed dogs. Personally I like the docked Cocker but if we have to have tails then so be it and it's good to see some people braving it out.
Good luck - hth

Just following on from Pam it is still legal but through a vet and nobody else.
Just continuing on from this, do the people who show their dogs in Europe know how myself and other people will be able to prove that our dogs were born naturally with short tails?? Some of them yuo can tell have been docked but others you can't, or at least I can't.
