I have used Naturediet for quite a while, but must say that I am not to keen on it now that they have changed their varieties. I am thinking of changing over to something similar i.e Naturesmenu, Forthglade, Natures Harvest etc.
Could I have any opinions please - all appreciated.

My dogs absolutely love Arden Grange Partners, they go mad over the tripe one especially and its got a very high meat content.2nd favourite is Nature's Harvest.

I have been feeding my 2 poodles Natures Menu and Royal canin mini sensible for quite some time now although i am thinking about changing to natures harvest instead only because i have noticed that since natures menu has changed their packaging in the list of ingredients it now says various sugars which puts me off a bit, has anyone else noticed this and if so have you any ideas what these various sugars may be please? I have used nature diet in the past but my dogs weren't so keen on it and i found that their faeces were often covered in like a sausage skin so i assume it didn't really suit them.

Where are you seeing Natures Menu with added sugar?   Below are the ingredients from their Adult Chicken & Turkey pouch - none of the other varieties list sugar either, not that I can see anyway.

Ingredients
Chicken min 20% turkey min 40% with rice peas 4%, carrots 4% rice min 8%, vitamin A, vitamin D3, tocopherol

the packets i have that are in the blue box of 4 mixed varieties (the new packaging) lists the ingredients as say chicken carrots peas rice and various sugars it says the same on the other varieties as well. I have e mailed the manufacturers and asked them what these are but am awaiting a reply.

In that case, they have not updated their web site.   I want to pick up some wet food at Pets at Home - so now I'm really curious - last time I didn't notice any new packaging, but maybe it's in stock now.

Sugar is used as a flavouring and sometimes to colour food (dark sugar).

I am still waiting for a reply from natures menu so will let you know what they say, I wonder if these various sugars are in fact natural sugars that i know are in carrots etc in which case i don,t suppose there is any need to worry.

I did change onto natures harvest as I prefer the ingredients etc but find it hard to get hold of in a small beach town, plus naturediet is competative on price whch is important when you are feeding it to more than one dog.
