I love the Brain Training game too.  Also recommend Bust a Move and Tetris (the oldies are the best! :-D)

I have a game called Touchmaster which has lots of games in one and its great! I play on it all of the time. Look it up on google or the 'game' website and it will show you screen shot of the different games. I was obsessed with playing bubble breaker on my Husbands touch screen mobile phone, its a game where you have to pop as many of the same coloured bubbles touching each other at one particular time with the aim to clearing the screen - more addictive than Tetris IMO, anyway he bought me a DS and this game, that was about 18 months ago and I still play this game almost every day - I play it every night to help me fall asleep, take it to appointments where I'm likely to have to wait, on holiday..........maybe I need to get a life!!

Professor Layton and The Curious Village  looks really interesting :) think that may find it's way into Santa's sack here :)

We have the Brain Training games and also Big Brain Academy - I like to know what my tiny brain weighs LOL

Hotel Dusk: Room 215   looks really interesting, but more of a grown up game where you have to really figure things out.  The graphics are excellent!   I may treat myself to this for Christmas :)

Hotel Dusk is a good game, I wish there were more grown up type of games on the DS.

I have the CSI game Dark Motives and that is very good.  Also enjoy the Touchmaster game.

I have Brain Training and More Brain Training.  Both are very good, a couple of the brain games are more difficult on the second one.  I am thinking about buying Maths Training.  Anyone have this?  Any good?
- By Whistler [gb] Date 28.11.08 16:34 UTC
Try to buy an edge card off amazon. co then you can down load games off the net and use them in your DS costs about £20. I have crosswords, Nintendo dogs, cooking stuff, scrabble, card games all off the net saved a fortune. It looks like a USB stick records onto a small chip like a phone sim, that loads into a small DS card and you are there.

The Guitar Heroes for the DS is great as well - very addictive.  I too love Mario Cart.  There are loads of different circuits to unlock and I play with the kids and OH which makes it very competitive (I am normally rubbish except in the Creepy Forest and Rainbow Road!!)

Ohhh, not really sure on how this works... sounds a good idea, going to research this online if it means games are cheaper, thats fab!! Thanks!!

Thanks everyone they are some really good games out there, its a shame the majority are kiddy games, but more and more adult games are coming out which is good

Maths training looks pretty good, might be worth a buy too :)
