I have an Australian Shepherd puppy that is 4 months old. She has been itchy for a while now. I can't figure out what is wrong with her. She get regular baths, has been treated for fleas and lice. I have not seen any signs of either, but treated anyway. I took her to the vet and he could not see anything wrong with her. I've tried special shampoos, sprays and anything else I can get my hands on. Does anyone have a guess at what is wrong with her, I feel so sorry for her and want to help her so badly. :'(
Thank you for any advice!

Welcome to the forum QT :-)
What be you feeding her?
Also, cut out all the baths. They have a drying effect and will not help the problem.

Thank you for the welcome.
I am feeding her Science Diet Puppy food. Also she gets fresh cows milk once a day since we are dairy farmers. I will try switching her food.

I'm not an expert QT, but I would try keeping her on the hills and cutting out the milk for a couple of weeks and see how you go :-)

Hi QT
It could also me the milk as cows milk is very different from dogs milk and she might be reacting to that :)
Has she always been itchy or has it started since you had her? What was her breeder feeding her on?
Sorry I know that is more questions but that might help provide the answer. If she hasn't changed food from what her breeder was giving her I would probably try leaving the milk out first before swapping foods. :)

She has been itchy since we got her. The breeder was feeding her Iams puppy food. I switched her slowly as is recommended.
I dont mind answering questions! Anything to help the poor baby!
