Hi there

I know this question has probably been asked before, but can anyone recommend a good Dog Dryer / Blaster? Im sick of having sopping wet dogs after a walk who only dry 10mins before we're due to go again!!
Ive looked on ebay but theres so many dont know which are good and which are not

many Thanks

Hi there,

Right, ive checked out all the blasters, I can only afford up to about £200, there are two blasters on ebay at the moment, both very similar, one is rigid plastic with two heat settings and its on a stand which is good i think, the last one sold for £145, this one is 2400 watts..
There is also another one on looks very similar, but isnt on a stand, also has two heat settings but this one is Metal instead of plastic and the wattage is a bit higher 2800, which one should i go for??

Are blasters better on a stand please???

Be grateful for some early replies as Im bidding for both and one ends in 1hr 45mins

Thanks
Beth

Blasters usually come with a VERY long hose and so can happily sit on the floor while you blast on a grooming bench/table.  Unless used on a daily basis, a stand would make it more difficult to move around.
Mine is metal (Simpsons) are was used professionally in a parlour daily for 16 years and is still going stong now only being used for my own dogs.

Hi West Coast, these two ive seen both have 3 metre hoses and other attachments cant think how long 3 metres is, what do u think?

It's long!!  About 10 feet.  I've looked on Ebay and the seller doesn't have good feedback.  I wouldn't spend that sort of money with that feedback. There's negative feedback for supplying a broken table and not replying only last week. :(

Simpsons is £210 for a new one including delivery and it'll last you a lifetime! :)

Check out the Technogroom and Christiesdirect websites as well-they have a few blasters within your budget and both companies are good for giving advice.
