I would not give a puppy weatabix as wheat is one of the most likely cereals to cause digestive intolerances.

Soak a little puppy food and add puppy milk to this to form a gruel or porridge.

they will only want about a teaspoonful as a taster at first.

I start with puppy milk thickened with baby rice, then added to that mixture the softened complete, gradually increasing the proportion of complete and reducing the amount of puppy milk powder until it is just complete softened with hot water.  Then reduce the water until by about 6 weeks of age them are eating it dry.  It is vitally important to ensure all puppies are happy to lap water before reducing the amount of fluid in the food though.

I start mine with scraped (not minced) beef. Just a teaspoonful once a day (mine are a medium-sized breed) for a couple of days, then one teaspoonful twice a day for a couple of days, before adding a teeny taster of thoroughly-soaked good-quality complete puppy food.
