so glad thought I was the miserable one.... sick of hearing about it are you?
- By newfiedreams Date 06.11.08 19:17 UTC
Yes, I hate it all I'm afraid, can't get excited about people famous for doing nowt really! I think applause should be reserved for troops fighting for freedom, missionary that help starving children, and all the emergency services! 8-) Mind you I hate soap operas too...never watch 'em...purile rubbish in my humble opinion...

I know when I was younger I would have done something like that Starryeyes, and for Leslie Mckeown (Bay City Rollers) and George Michael (Wam days) I was just as nutty as your sister-in-law, but I knew I'd got too old for it all when one of the only stars that I have really wanted to see up close and personal in later years was Leonardo DiCaprio and he was premiering in London, hubby took the time off work so that we could go down and see him on the red carpet, well we were all ready to go and it started to rain heavily, I just looked at hubby and said we won't bother. he was secretly pleased, but there you go when bad weather stops you, you know you are past it. :-D

I stand outside in the cold for a year NAKED if it meant I could get close to Jon Bon Jovi (who would also preferably be naked!!!) :)!!! Lush!!!

Gosh yes I loved George Michael when he was in wham . in the early days I loved Mott the Hoople thought Ian Hunter was gorgeous lol

The one thing I regret is never having seen Whitney Houston in concert in her hey day I love her music and have all her CD from those days such a shame she became involved in the drug world and ruined her life.
I hear she is back on track and making a new album .........Now I would definitely want to go and see her if she was performing.

Yep, I've never seen Whitney live either, as long as she is drug free she would be amazing, I've seen plenty of people over the years, been to plenty of places, but do you know I don't think I could face it anymore, the crowds the uncomfortable benches, or standing sitting room, the horrible toilets. (Oh do I hate the toilets) I've got soooooo.... past it now, I don't think I'll go and see anyone again now, unless it is indoors, with comfy soft chairs and nice posh toilets. :-) But the big acts are rarely in places like that as they don't hold that many people.

I'll have to get into Jazz or something in my old age. :-D

know where your coming from last time we went to NEC Manchester my friend and  I saw Westlife I thought we would be the shall we say older person (hit the big 50 this year) in the audience but it appeared to be more our age group so didnt feel out of place.
I loved it they put on such a fantastic show start to finish , its such an expensive night out though!

Now we have the brand new Liverpool one Arena so hopefully the toilets are in tip top condition.LOL
(still wouldnt queue up for tickets I prefer them to drop through the letter box ha ha

I would stand out in the cold for ever if it meant I got up close to Bono, John Rzeznik and Steven Gerrard.....If I was only allowed to pick one though Bono wins it hands down, hes my all time hero and id walk over hot coals just for the chance to be withing touching distance....
Call me sad now lol ;) I know I am but hey....Im proud to be a saddo lol

- By HuskyGal Date 08.11.08 19:55 UTC
Only men worth standing out in the cold for are the ones that will get me hot in no time...and would be able to rip their way through all me thermals ;O)
