I have a bitch staying at the present time, and her owner feeds the same dry food as myself - RC.  She brought some moist bits to add with it, and told me it is called hilife.  Anybody had any experience with it, and is it any good?

I use it as treats for training. I had the idea to use it for feeding when travelling as it doesn't need soaking, but found it upset my dogs' stomachs -even those that have iron stomachs.

Thanks for that.  A couple of mine stole some off our visitor!!!  Seemed to enjoy it, but a few mouthfuls isn't going to upset the apple cart.  I don't think I'll bother getting any though.  Glad I didn't buy loads and regret it!

This products looks like a pack of sugar,colours,preservatives and flour :( I would rid my house of it and not even give it for treats.

I don't think hot dogs are any healthier but it's one type of treat recommended and used by many including top trainers and beaviourists -as long as it's for training, whatever it is, I can't see a problem. It's only small amounts. Just like you don't feed your child on chocolate but may give it as a treat.

I use it as treats, would never consider using it as actual food as it is full of sugar.
