My vet has told me that because Drym is sick with a virus I have to keep him apart from the puppy
she was doing so well in her crate, sleeping through the night and no mess, but since I have had to keep
Drym in a different room she just barks all night, last night she woke me 7 times, my neighbours are going crazy

Can anyone suggest anything to stop her barking x

Drym is a lot better today he has even eaten a ittle chicken and rice :)

Have her crate in your bedroom or sleep near it downstairs so she isn't alone.

Maybe the puppy could sleep in his crate in your daughter's bedroom? It really just needs to be able to hear and smell that there is somebody else around and the poor little thing will feel all abandoned. Just make sure that your daughter doesn't try and play with him in the night, as the puppy needs to know that nighttime in the crate is sleeptime, not playtime. :-)

Thanks Mark

My daughter is away with her dad until next weekend but I have had a brainwave :)

Tomorrow I am going to go to mothercare or boots and get a baby monitor, I will place the monitor that
picks up sound in with the pup that way she can hear me breathing and probably snoring so she won't feel so alone :) I will also be
able to tell her "bed" if I hear her making a noise

I think that might catch on lol we should make a puppy monitor

Drym is perking up :)

Really obvious, but have you tried leaving a radio on at low level in her room? Needs to be a talk show. May not work but worth a try if you haven't tried already.
