Can someone enlighten me please....I am sure I have not made  this up on my own mind.... but if a dog gets banned from the show ring, through aggression , i.e biting judge....  will his offsprings also be banned?

Had the conversation on another board, and someone questioned this,  I`m sure I have been told this before, but now am questioning myself!!

Certainly any offspring he sires after his banning will aslo be banned; I'm not certain about ones sired beforehand.

The KC told me that no, offspring are not necessarily banned, it will depend on the case. IF offspring are banned, it will be obvious from the notice in the Kennel Gazette.

yes, thats what I thought "after"   is it written down anywhere

It is in the Regs which I don't have to hand @ the moment(in my judging bag for Sunday)but it is always born after the ban comes into force
