I hope my young Holly will not have died in vain but for others to learn from,Being 22mths and having a great birth ,a wonderful mother, feeding and caring for her babies nearly to the end showing no signs of illness was eating and drinking normally right up to 10.00 on Sunday night when she suddenly started to be ill.She was rushed to the vet at 10.30 pm with a temperature of 103 but still no signs after a thougher going over everthing seemed o/k so they gave antibiotic injections and a injection to get her temperature down which it did, but as the time went on her legs went so rushed her back at 7.30 a.m for more tests and scans only to our shock to find closed pyo.they operated straight away, she survived the op.and was just coming round when her heart just stop from the Toxin
They never dreamed it could have been a closed pyometra in one so young plus just had a litter,We have been intouch with several vets to ask on this one and none have ever experienced this at that age and not long after whelping,we have also been on the web all saying the same thing
SO PLEASE DON`T LET OUR LITTLE HOLLY HAVE DIED IN VAIN AND LET OTHERS KNOW THESE THING CAN HAPPEN AND UNEXPECTED........PLEASE, PLEASE BE WARNED and let our precious HOLLY help others
