Took Maisie for her health check and boosters recently, never minded the vets as she loves people so much. Anyway he did her health check then went to get the booster. Normally she does'nt even notice it has been done but OMG she squeeled in pain and nearly dived off the table, i was holding her but not firmly as normally she is fine. He had to go and get another and the same happened again but this time she ended up on the floor. He said I'll try a smaller needle but by this time she was not very happy, i held her on the floor but he missed again and it went allover her back and my hands. He seemed to be gatiing anoyed but eventually he got her. Do you think he used a needle that was too big to start with ? I am also now worried she is going to be the same next time. Has anyone eles had a similar experience ?

hmmm its possible, but to be honest the needles that are used in general practice arent very big, they have varying sizes but even the biggest isnt huge. maybe he scruffed her a bit rough or something, most dogs never notice the inection regardless of size (unless theyre a greyhound lol) they always notice
