I would love to import a Great Dane puppy from Denmark, has spoken to a breeder, and shes happy for us to have a puppy.
Only thing is, the puppy has to be roughly 10months before being able to come into GB, has anybody imported, what age do they have to be, whats vaccinations, paperwork do they require etc...
All help apperciated!!

They can either come in at a young age and spend 6 months in quarantine, or they can come in via the Pet PAsspport system, whereby they're vaccinated against rabies at three months of age, a blood sample is taken at least two weeks later and, if the immunity against rabies is sufficient, they can enter the country 6 months after the date of the blood test.

The DEFRA site has more details.

I think Terri (briedog) has imported a puppy\dog so she might know if she sees this. :-)

It depends which vaccine was used. Usually 10 months is the very earliest.
