Hi does anyone have any advice?

I have a t shirt I wear to sleep in that has some transfer letters on it.  As the t shirt has got older the fabric has got softer so I don't want to part with it BUT the transfers have gone hard and several have cracked.  Is it posible to remove them?  I was wondering if I could use an iron to 'melt' them off (without ruining the iron!) ?

It doesn't realy matter if it goes wrong, it can't be much worse, but I thought I might try and find the best way and that some of you may have the answer!!

Be carefull when ironing transfers on T shirts R.....
The iron tends to melt them ok but spreads them half way across the t shirt.....I did it accidentally with on of mine ...made the mistake of ironing it the right way out and caught the transfer with the iron...disater

Wouldnt sticky stuff remover work you know the stuff you get from them catalouges they drop through your door that sell household stuff etc etc (Dunno if im allowed to say the name) It comes in a spray bottle and its not that expensive anyway.
Its good for getting labels of stuff so it might work
