Lovely advert. Particularly poignant when it got to the scene from the war and the advert took on a more sombre tone.

Shame it was brown bread though......i know what i like and its white white white :-) :-) :-)

trying to find out where it was filmed looks like a lot of places in Liverpool .... film crews always being spotted in the city and parks , the old cobbled streets and street lights love to know just out of interest.

remember a while back a film being made in a popular area with victorian houses etc they made it look like it was snowing with the old horse and carriages...  really strange to watch .

yes...I was right all filmed in Liverpool and Chester/wirral below is the reply from hovis!
I recognised the old cobbled streets actually in the City Centre near to the cathederals Hope Street and Rodney Street dont know where the derelict buildings were.
