My friend is getting a new puppy shortly and wishes to crate train. Can anyone advise the best place to buy crates from. Thank you.

Savic is very good but often more expensive and one advantage is their top opening door.  This can be very helpful with a small puppy when travelling home in the car, and also when you first get home and have the pup beside you at night - you can just drop a hand in for comfort whilst they settle.

Look at eBay too but remember to factor in delivery costs, although you may find some of the sellers are pet shops where you can collect too

Whatever crate you get just check door sizes - some of the cheaper ones have smaller doors which can be a nuisance with a bigger dog.

Doghealth are a good company to deal with.  I also like the Rosewood crates, nice construction.
