As a lot of you know, I have had a horrid time with Chers coat. Baldness infront of her ears and on her neck. Mind you, min pins dont have wonderful coats, but I thought Cher was taking it a bit to far.
I had her on the best foods available, doing all the tests, ruling out, etc. Treated for Demodex, and faithfully applying a control med every month.
But, I ended up going with Eagle Pack Holistic Selects Small and Mini Breed for her food. And slowly, her hair is coming back. She has peach fuzz!!!!
I had been thinking of switching back to Eagle for a while now, but had heard some bad things about it. Plus, it is rather expensive (at almost $30 for a 5lb bag). But I bit the bullet, and did it. Its been about 2 weeks, and in this short time, I have seen a great improvement.
She had been weaned onto Eagle, and I should have stuck with it. It now looks kinda weird (but in a good way) to see her have hair where she hasnt. I cant wait until her coat comes back full, I am so excited!!!!!
Just thought I would share the news, since I have made many a query, and been so frustrated with her coat over the last bit.
Great news :) Just goes to prove how important the right diet is for over all welfare and clearly Cher has a great mum catering for her expensive tastes!
