Have just spent a week at Sunflower Cottage in Lincolnshire.  It's a great cottage; the owners are very friendly people (dog and child friendly).  It has everything you need, including an enclosed secure garden with your own entrance and parking.  They leave you to it, basically to do what-ever you want!

Lots of country walks.... a coastline of sandy beaches where dogs can go NUTS!  Great fish&chip shop even better indian takeaway (& eat-in) in the village .Well worth it :)

oops I just noticed the phrase "one small well behaved dog welcome". I dont think my two would be too welcome! What a shame!

Yes, a huge number of these say '1 dog' or '2 dogs'. Once you get past those, places that accept more than 2 generally don't seem to mind having more than that, we've found some nice places for our 3.

Contact  them and ask they are dog lovers ( infact they had just lost their dog in a very tragic accident )
They come across as a very friendly couple altogether  Donna and Mike.......
